What upcoming 'war with Iran?'
Why should we resort to military force when President Bush's present strategy is working?

Lets think of this logically............. if there is a war with Iran
1) It would have to be authorized by Congress - which is controlled by the Democrats.
2) The only representatives we have heard requesting a reinstatement of the draft are Democrats
3) Bush has stated there won't be a draft and the democrats don't want to be seen as agreeing with Bush on anything.
So it seems to be a coin toss on what the Democrats want on one side and what the voters actually ask for....

The current war should be dispositive for a while. The Draft is preferable as there is ample precedent for societies reliant on only professional armies.

If that happend that'll be the only option to fight against a nation at least 2 times larger tha iraq and more populated, supported by Russia and China, with the back of the US army populated with chiia muslims loyal to their iranian brothers and with full access to the Ormuz strait. Is a big risk, US can find in iran his Hadrianople.

Let's hope not. I personally think Israel will take on the task of hitting Iran's nuclear facilities, not the US. We will only intervene should we need to. I hope our current administration has learned from the mistake in Iraq and the Iran war will never come about.

No. For some reason we are not being asked to make any sacrafices for any of Bush's wars. Hopefully we have better sense than to attack Iran God help us if we do.
