i need to get my tags renewed and i lost the form that says how much i owe in taxes what do i do to get a new paper that says how much i owe?

Your tag office should be able to provide you that information from their computer. Or, you might try contacting your county tax office. They can provide you with the info and even give you a duplicate copy. Some counties require you to pay your personal property taxes at their local office while some states require you pay the auto tax when you renew your tag. Both places should have the records you need.

That depends upon the state you live in; each one is different. For example in MO, you have to bring your paid tax receipts to get your tags. If that' what you need, the tax collector's office can provide a duplicate for $1.00. If you've just lost your tag renewal form, the DMV office or tag agency can renew your tags without it; they'll just print out a new one.
