Given these two movies as options which one would you choose?

Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory (the original) or The Wizard of Oz?

Oh, and throw in what your religion is also, just for fun. :)

Hello young lady,
I have enjoyed both of those movies for a number of years but if I were going to take a young child I probably would not takle them to the Wizard of Oz because a number of them are afraid of the Wicked Old Witch. I am a Non-Denominational Christian that believes the Bible is GOD's Inspired WORD and that we should be following it as closely as we possibly can at all times. Have a great week.
Thanks,
Eds

The Wizard of Oz.

Gnostic Christian. The Wizard of Oz actually has some very Gnostic themes in it, like Dorothy's yearning to go home. Or, the part where the wizard gives Dorothy's companions material things but those material things were not what changed them, they already had what they needed inside of them.

I would choose the Wizard of Oz as I prefer it as the better of these two classics. I am an atheist.

The original Willy Wonka, because there is a lesson in it about morality.
