It Depends On What "Good For Your Hair" Means? It Is Good For Your Hair And Scalp to Be Clean But, If You Mean "Will It Damage My Hair?" The Answer Is NO! You May Not Like The Way A Shampoo CLEANS Your Hair And You May Not Like How A Conditioner Works On Your Hair But, They Cannot Damage Your Hair (UNLESS You "Over-Use" Them On Already Damaged Or "Delicate" Hair)

Don't listen to the hairstylists; they just want you to buy their expensive, overrated products. Some of them are worse than the store brands.
As far as Herbal Essences and Garnier Fructis go, I think they're garbage. Same with Pantene and VO5. All of them made my hair stiff and brittle and dried out my scalp. I recommend L'oreal Vive, Dove, or Suave Daily Clarifying. They're all much gentler than most brands.

neither one is the best stuff on the market, but neither one is going to ruin your hair. They are made for hair that has been colored and such, so you should be ok using it now and getting a better brand in the future. I wouldn't just throw it out, it's not that bad.

please don't use it, or any commercial products. they all strip your hair of it's naturaly oil which you really need and then to make your hair soft the conditioners have wax in them so you end up with a bunch of build up. and no shampoo will make your hair grow slower or faster or make it fall out. ask your stylist what she recommends, and use that, if you don't like it proffessional products are guaranteed so you can take it back and try something else
