It is still a mystery. It is clear that Cain's father was Adam and Eve was his mother. It is not mentioned whether Eve bore daughters; though many scholars debate this theory since it is not documented in the scriptures. Some scholars argue that Cain's wife could have been his sister.

His sister the story was written thousands of years later and only the major characters were recorded. Women were not recorded in the bible and some men had more than one wife which leads me to belive that there was more women.
It did say later that Adam and Eve had other sons and daughters.
In 15 years a women was considered grown. He may have been married prior to this murder thing. He may have been hundreds of years old. Having grown children.

This gets asked a lot. He married a sister or a cousin....Adam and Eve had many children. Not all are mentioned. They lived more than 500 yrs and to start a population from 2 people some relatives have to marry.

The woman he met outside the garden while he was wandering in the land of Nod, east of Eden. This woman was not his sister as was stupidly explained by many religions who would like to keep their deceptive and wrong teachings about Adam and Eve as humankind's first parents. cains wife is not named in the bible for he was a fugitive but it does say she was from the land of NOD EAST OF EDEN(MATT.4 16-17)

God either made more people even though it is not mentioned in the Bible. Or he took his sister as a wife or close relative. Adam and Eve had many children. : )
