I want my taxes to go as smoothly as possible this year...is it faster to do direct deposit into my account? Or does it not really make a difference?

I ust dont want anything to get messed up...are there any DD issues?

I only want to do it if it is significantly faster...is it?

You'll get your refund about 10 days quicker if you use direct deposit compared to having them mail you a check.

When you electronically file and have a direct deposit you can get your refund in 8 to 15 days. The IRS deposits on Fridays.

If you electronically file and request a check it is more like a month before your check arrives by mail.

For larger deposits that's available they might make a pair deposits interior some days of another. ensure you probably did no longer have it going to 2 diverse debts and characteristic it chop up up.

I don't think there is any issues with Direct Deposit. But personaly I didn't wanna to do it, because this will give IRS your bank account number, and you know what that means. And I like to see the check coming in to my mail, where I can celebrate on receiving the refund check. But DD is faster than check. But again, check won't that long anyway.

Direct Deposit is the fastest, easiest and smoothest way to go. You wont' regret it. I have done it the past few years and have NEVER had a problem.
