Hello, I am 12 years old. I am trying to get up extra early everyday for school. Normally i get up liek less than 30 minutes before, and i tend to be late alot. What i plan on doing is getting up at 6:00 because i have plenty of things to do in the morning, that i normally never get done before comming home in the afternoon. Can you please help me and tell me ways i can get up easier. Also how i can get up and feel energized. Any ideas for breakfast, so that i can be energized throughout the day.

I'm proud to hear of a 12 year, that is trying to be responsible. Ask your parents for a alarm clock, and after a while your body will get adjusted to the change. Make sure you go to sleep at least by 9:30, 10:00p.m.
Always have breakfast in the morning, include a glass of orange juice. Make sure through out the day you eat a healthy lunch, and also a healthy snack. Try not to eat heavy before you go to bed. I hope this will help you. Good luck

You never mentioned what time you usually go to bed...but I find that going to bed semi-early helps a lot. If I need to get up at 5, I'll be in bed by 10. When the alarm goes off, I pop right up.
Also, I practice Pilates first thing in the morning. It's low-impact and it only takes me about 15 minutes to do an entire "routine" of it. I really wakes me up. Since you're only 12, you could just do some simple stretches as soon as you get out of bed.
As for breakfast, eat something hearty, but not heavy. Steer away from sugary cereals. You burn those off fast and crash before noon. Eat some Cheerios or Frosted Mini-Wheats. If you like oatmeal, that is also a good option. You could also eat frozen breakfast foods like Eggos or french toast. Don't stop with cereal, though! Eat one other thing that is sort of sweet to get your blood sugar surging as well. Try a banana, an apple or some yogurt.
I hop that helps!
