okay say that someone is in prision and there level is a 5, how is that rated

Prisoners are rated depending upon the crime that they committed according to penalties. The higher the penalty, the higher the level and the security required is more strict.

yes, but here in Mich. not sure about other states, it does not go alone on the crime / or if you have ever had any violent crimes. I know because my father ( only drunk driving - 3 ) he is not a killer, a child molester,a armed robber,etc and he was placed in a higher security because he was sentenced over 3 years. Level 5 is the highest......
