You realize when you say your price range is $100-200 and you say it has to have excellent quality, it's a really difficult question. I have thousands of dollars in camera gear, which is what I would consider the price range for excellent gear.

I would definitely go digital since you are doing a lot of web work. A good point and shoot I would recommend is the Fuji F30 or even the older F10 which can be bought on eb@y. The Fuji sensor gives excellent skin tone and this is what you want for modelling.

600x800 is the resolution size of the photo. 600 pixels tall by 800 pixels wide, or 480,000 total pixels. All digital cameras for sale today are capable of millions of pixels (megapixels), so whatever you pick will be more than plenty to meet that need.

Most professional photographers use a digital SLR camera. Examples - Canon EOS 20D or 30D, Nikon D80.....

You will also need Adobe photoshop to touch up the digital photos.

You looking at about $1500+ investment in equipment alone.

I have a Kodak easyshare c703. It takes great pictures. I have young children and you can set it to take pictures when they are in motion too without it being blurry. You can set it as a timer as well to get everyone in the picture. I believe its a 7 megapixel. Good camera and cost about 150 with dock station at walmart.com

Go digital so you can enhance or crop them if necessary. You can get digital photos professionally printed if you wish. And 600X800 refers to the size. You can easily resize photos if they are larger than that.

Canon makes great cameras. You can compare most all brands here http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/specs/Canon/
