Ivan Drago was supposedly a 1980 Olympic Gold Medalist. The 1984 games were boycotted by the USSR. He measures 196 cm (6 ft 5 in) tall and weighing 118 kg (261 pounds).Ivan Drago's amateur record at the time of the Rocky Balboa match was 100-0. The Ivan Drago versus Rocky Balboa match was never an officially sanctioned fight, but boxing record keepers still keep the result of the bout on both fighter's professional records because it complied with professional boxing rules, it was scheduled for 15 rounds, and was a relatively significant event. Ivan Drago was permitted to resume his career as an amateur boxer after his loss to Rocky Balboa because of the special circumstance that he could not officially turn pro in the USSR. Ivan Drago never lost an amateur fight. Ivan Drago turned professional after the fall of the Soviet Union and accumulated an impressive 31-1 (31 KO) record while also winning a portion of the Heavyweight title. He never unified the title or fought the very top contenders (as a pro) because of promotional politics. His only defeat was at the hands of Rocky Balboa as a pro or an amateur fighter.
James "Clubber" Lang's professional record before the first Rocky Balboa match was 32-0. Clubber Lang scored a 2nd round KO over Rocky Balboa to win the Undisputed Heavyweight Championship. Clubber Lang lost the championship to Rocky Balboa on his first title defense via 3rd round KO. Clubber Lang has won the championship twice in his career.
His final record stands at 70-2 (64 KO).
With this considered, we then have to think about their bouts with Rocky. Lang-Balboa 1 Rocky lost because he lost his manager/trainer that very night. His mind was not in the fight at all. Also, when he was training for the fight, it just proved how soft he had gotten. But, after he embraced his fears, and trained with Apollo, he DOMINATED Lang in just a few rounds. Drago on the other hand, fought Balboa all the way to the 15th round and was winning the fight until his KO. In Lang-Balboa 2, Lang lasted until round 3, that means Drago lasted against Balboa 5 times longer. Drago, though doped up, was not a quitter like Lang was. Between the 14th and 15th rounds, he even lifted his promoter up by the neck and threw him into the crowd... WITH ONE ARM!!! I am very strong, VERY STRONG. I weigh 175 and b.p. 305lbs for sets of 12. But ask yourself, could you hold ANYONE off the ground... with one arm... after 14 rounds of boxing the World Champion? As strong and proud as I am... I need to admit, I could not. 2,500+ psi? Ha, I'd rather be shot in the head with a shot gun. Lang didn't make it past 3, if Drago got up after his knock down he would have won on points.
With that said, Ivan Drago would either kill or one-sidedly KO Lang early in the fight. Creed was over the hill in 1+2, Lang had no heart in 3, Tommy Gunn beat a paper champion, Dixon won a split decision vs a nearly 60 year old Balboa. With out a doubt, Drago was the best opponent of Balboa if you (like I do) love imagination.

Clubber Lang. You're talking about a 15 round fighter - Lang - vs. a 3 round fighter in Drago.

Drago went the 15 rounds with Rocky. Lang only made it 3 rounds. Drago by knockout in the 2nd round cuz Lang would punch himself out in the 1st.

Drago would absolutely win decisively, winning every round before knocking Lang all the way out in the 5th round.
