I heard there is a way to sign the title (or not sign it) that would allow you to turn around and resell a vehicle without paying sales tax.

What say you?

You are automatically charged sales tax whenever you purchase a vehicle, it is not up to the dealership to do it, the state does it upon registration. You can turn around and sell the car the same day, but you would still be liable for the tax as it is part of the purchase price when its all said and done. Wholesaler's or dealers are the only ones that can purchase a car without paying sales tax, and that is on a scaled basis....Unless you are tax exempt, that is the only way to get out of the state sticking it to you somehow....

regrettably, in case you're an American, the IRS forces you to declare all earnings international. the U. S. is one among 4 or 5 international places in the international that try this. you will, whether, get a tax credit for any taxes you pay in different international places. So enable's say your investment yields $10,000 in Ghana. And enable's say you pay $2,000 in taxes in Ghana. you will then owe taxes on $8,000 of earnings. of direction, what those taxes would desire to be will rely on your common tax undertaking. seek advice from a competent tax accountant and discern how superb to try this.

Sounds like BS to me. Only another dealer (i.e. someone w/ dealer license) can buy a car w/o sales tax. And they pay a different sort of tax every year.
