They way they act and talk it a tell all. If they are a Christian, the Holy spirit is within them, guidine them. But if they are just being a fake, you will know thru their actions. They are the same as before, and they have no means to change.

Well, actually, this is a rather easily answered. True Christians are those who follow the whole Bible, while fakes usually pick and choose from the scriptures they want to use in their religion, or they follow church traditions or dogma--little of which is based on the Bible, if at all. Of course, there's more to it than that, but that's it in a nutshell. It goes without saying that if you want to be able to identify true Christians you first have to know the Bible yourself, to be able to separate fact from fiction as it were.
And that scripture everyone's quoting is found at Matthew 7:15-20, particularly verse 20.

A true Christian will live their lives for Jesus. He will shine through them. A fake Christian will live for himself. They play church on Sunday, and then live like the Devil all week. When a person says they are a Christian they have to walk the walk, and talk the talk.

Supposedly one can tell a true christian "by their fruits". However, too many times christians claim a true christian is one that supports their argument, while a fake christian is one that contradicts it.

I partially agree with A L, but you really can't. It's between them and God, not you and them. The old mantra is true- don't judge a book by it's cover... or, going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more than going inside a garage makes you a car.

It's between them and God. If God is in you, He'll help you find them, but again, you shouldn't ever judge someone. Ever. ..."lest you be judged!"

True Christians keep it to themselves.

They behave as Jesus did, giving to their fellow man, speaking as they give. They live their lives so well, that miracles seem to come when they need them the most.

They don't exude negativity and they don't send people to hell, or make condemnatory remarks.

They also don't throw out esoteric Bible Quotes, as Jesus or the prophets NEVER did that. They live their faith, and set an example for others to follow.

That is my opinion.

A Christian can be found by listening to the Words they Use.
Then pay attention to their actions as those actions give credibility to those words.
