Yep, the church is filled with sinners. People who are no better than Charles Manson and no worse than Billy Graham.
Sins are not forgiven by prayer. You can pray all you want and never be forgiven. You can do all the charity work you want to in Jesus name and never be forgiven. You can attend church your whole life and never be forgiven. You can tithe 15% of every cent you make, before taxes, and never be forgiven.
There are some who know what I mean, and others who might argue this. Some will call themselves Christian and for all I know they might be.
No matter what any one says every word I wrote is true and if you want to understand there is only one person you can ask and be sure you will get the right answer.
Jesus Christ.

1) Sinners are not forgiven by prayer. They are forgiven when they repent of their sin, and accept Jesus as the way to forgive their sins.
2) Pride is a sin. There are more sins than the two you're proud of not having committed.
3) There are many sins that societies accept without any reprimand to the sinner. Society does not have the ability to forgive a sin.

It says in the Bible everyone has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. That means Christians as well as non Christians. Most people don't understand, that some if not most people who go to church aren't Christians at all. True Christians are sinners, who's sins are forgiven becuase of the blood of the lamb. Even Christians still make mistakes, the difference between Christians and non Christians making mistakes, is just that, Christians sins are forgiven, and Christians are remorsful for their sins, not to say non Christians aren't, but usually if they are, its becuase there are consequences for their actions, not becuase they realize they have sinned against God, and he deserves nothing less than our complete love and obedience. I hope this helps, if you have any more questions, e-mail me :)

the fact is that EVERYONE is a sinner apart from Jesus
we all sin - you, me and everyone else
it is just a question of degree of sin - you may not have committed 'big' sins (murder, rape etc) but can you hand on heart swear that you have never lied or cheated or spoken ill of another unjustly?
so seeing as everyone is a sinner then yes churches are full of sinners (fellow sinners)
ideally the church is like a hospital for forgiven sinners (who are repentant of their sins)
sometimes the process of restoration does involve making restitution for the sins committed (and the legal process being applied here) and others it is about reforming ones previous actions
society does ask for a price for some sins but not others - Jesus paid the price for ALL sins - but the consequences for some of these sins do need to be taken care of too

Yes the church is full of sinful people, who have been redeemed because of Christs sacrifice.I can only speak for myself,I am not perfect.I have said and done things that have hurt others,I have had a really horrible thought,I have had temptation.I ask for Christ to forgive me not the church. Its about a relationship with my creator God.The churches are full of people knowing their condition, and their need of Jesus. Most who go to church know of their imperfections.

Well if you're referring to Christianity, bad deeds arent forgiven simply by prayer. Sins are forgiven by giving your life to Christ.

Church is a hospital for sinners, it ain't a hotel for Saints. Christians are also not above the laws of society. Look at all the believers in prison.

Your deeds are forgiven, but only if you try to improve by not doing them anymore. Hell is for people who sin, repent, and sin again, without even trying to not sin anymore.

That doesn't mean that you are not a sinner.
I'm a Christian preacher, writer and Evangelist and I'm nothing but an old sinner saved by grace.
I don't deserve the blessing that god has given me and I'm definitely not worthy of His Son.
But then that's what GRACE is all about.

No. Because it'd never happen with atheist "sinners", and if it did (theoretically) we wouldn't ask for forgivenss. Back when I was a young'un, I went with a coupl'a of married women (at different times...), and I sure never went to church. Besides, t'is not a sin worthy of reprimand, IMHO.
[Edit]: And what's wrong with your sleeping with random guys, anyway? I see no sin in *that*.
