Apart from the masculine/feminine which has already been mentioned.

The most frequent is when they mix the words

por and para = for

Normally, they always select the wrong one.

One of the most common mistakes people make is not knowing how to distinguish masculine from feminine. Also, adding an "o" to any word in english is not speaking spanish.

In Spanish we speak of things in gender form. In English everything is "The" whether it be female or male. Example:
The girl or the boy, in Spanish we would specify "La" for "The" in the form of female and "El" for "The" form of male. Even though we know that girl is female and boy is male. Most people who are not native speakers of Spanish tend to almost always use "El" for "The" which is logical in their minds , but is not always correct. They would say something like........ "El cama" when it should be female "La cama" .

I would like to congratulate all people who make an effort in speaking Spanish , whether they say it correctly or not. They should be proud of themselves for trying.

Peace and Love your way.

Bad accents make it hard to understand someone with decent spanish skills. That and ppl like to put the adj before the noun quite a bit, or the masculine feminine thing. It becomes more lazy and americanized everyday.

Confusing verb tenses and putting the wrong affixes to them.
Another common one is the use of articles because of the different genders, masculine and feminine.
