Gordon B. Hinckley and all other General Authorities are not only great men, but they are called and chosen prophets and apostles of the Living God, Jesus Christ! They are upright, righteous, and honest men. Shame on you for suggesting otherwise.

It takes until Thursday to upload it all to the website. One of the lies we tell is that patience is a virtue. If you really wanted to know before, you should have listened live.
Paul H. Dunn died in 1998. As a result we don't hear any more from him.

In response to iceprincess, the Church has never taught that Mary was married to God in the pre-mortal life, and then the Holy Ghost caused her to conceive. Here is what has actually been said:
"Lafayette Granger and the late Bishop George Miller in conversation once with the prophet Joseph Smith were told by him that when Mary the mother of Jesus was on her way to the hill country she was met by God the Father and the Angel Gabriel and the latter performed the marriage between Father and Mary." [Sarah M. Granger Kimball, counselor in Relief Society General Presidency, 27 December 1886, quoted in D. Michael Quinn, The Mormon Hierarchy: Extensions of Power.]
"When the Virgin Mary conceived the child Jesus, the Father had begotten him in his own likeness. He was not begotten by the Holy Ghost." [Brigham Young, 9 Apr. 1852, Journal of Discourses, vol. 1.]
"The man Joseph, the husband of Mary, did not, that we know of, have more than one wife, but Mary the wife of Joseph had another husband. . . . That very babe that was cradled in the manger, was begotten, not by Joseph, the husband of Mary, but by another Being." [Brigham Young, President of the Church, 19 August 1866, “Delegate Hooper—Beneficial Effects of Polygamy—Final Redemption of Cain,” reported by G. D. Watt, Journal of Discourses, vol. 11 (Liverpool: B. Young, Jun., 1867), p. 268.]
"[God] created man, as we create our children; for there is no other process of creation in heaven, on the earth, in the earth, or under the earth, or in all the eternities, that is, that were, or that ever will be." [Brigham Young, President of the Church, 18 June 1865, “Personality of God—His Attributes—Eternal Life, Etc.,” reported by G. D. Watt, Journal of Discourses, vol. 11 (Liverpool: B. Young, Jun., 1867), p. 122.]

If you wanted to hear what "lies" were told in General Conference, why didn't you just listen to the conference yourself. It open to everyone. Anyone can listen to it, You don't have to wait until Thursday. They are hiding nothing everything about conference is open to the public. It is broadcast on the internet, radio, tv. So if you really wanted to listen you could have.
You are actually making a fool of yourself when you ask "Why do I have to wait until Thursday?" because everyone knows no one has to wait until Thursday to listen to a conference that was broadcast on Saturday and Sunday.

There is no secret. Anybody can go into general conference.
Just dress nicely, get a ticket, and go in!
Anyone can get a ticket just by asking people near the conference center before the conference begins.
(Thats what I had to do)
I went with a huge group (200 youth)
We had youth all over asking for tickets, we all got in all the sessions.

Um, I think Paul Dunn died several years ago.
You can hear the whole thing at lds.org. or wait till next month when the conference issue of the Ensign comes out.
And, iceprincess, you are right, SaintsAlive is FULL of lies. Decker doesn't know how to tell the truth, if his life depended on it.

I don't know the things they are saying either since I haven't been at the conference.
Arthur:
You will want to have a look at some of the things that the last couple of presidents have come out with and see if you still hold to your opinion.

Why would you assume they lied about anything...
I can sum up for you what they spoke on:
Listening to good music
Being Forgiving (President Faust told the story of the Omish people and their forgiveness)
Changing ourselves to be more Christ-like
Strengthening our marriages, avoiding divorce and "starter-marriages"
How important the Bible is and how it has led more people to believe in Christ than any other book
Elder Holland's talk was my favorite - He spoke about how we need to be loving to our spouses - no verbal or physical abuse, also need to be loving and kind in the family. He spoke of how the "tongue" in things we say can do more damage than a whip to our bodies
I am not sure what your reference to Paul Dunn is....

Nothing is kept secret, it's open to the public.
I challenge you to quote something from it that was a lie. Then prove it.
I bet you can't do it. The prophets and apostles of the LDS church are some of the most upstanding and righteous men on earth. This isn't just me talking... why don't you study about them instead of spending your time attacking?
