living waters = the gospel of Jesus Christ

Living water was a term that the Jewish people should have understood.
At the time the ritual bath, the Mikvah, was to contain living, or moving, water.
Jesus was saying that His Words, His teachings were living water that would cleanse the soul of man and make Him pure again.
