ition? When I was a baptist I didn't and it seems most protestants don't either...? for example I see you all referring to apostolic tradition as the rosary or something else... (that's considered man-made tradition by catholics by the way.)

Thanks for your question.

You're 100% right: most people do not understand that. I will clarify that man-made tradition would probably refer to HOW things are done, but not WHAT is done. In other words, the order of the Mass may be done differently in some countries, but the worship of the Mass itself it not man-made.

Thanks again for bringing this out. People ignorantly accuse Catholics of things all the time that we don't do, like worship of Mary/statues, etc.

God bless.

I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth, and in in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into Hell. On the third day He rose again. He ascended into Heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

I know the difference. Many Catholic traditions are not in the Bible. The assumption of Mary into heaven became official doctrine in 1950.
