instead of connecting two subs with a (+) and a (-) terminal on the amp, connect one sub to the (+) on one output side, and the (-) for the second output.

(+)----------------------[+] (on sub)
(-)

(+)
(-)-----------------------[-] (on sub)

KaeZoo is correct, however, this is the most common way it is done. On some amps you use the right + and left -. Some amps are not bridgable (yes, really). You need to contact Sony or get an owners' manual to be sure. Otherwise, don't do it until you know for sure.

Connect the (+) terminal from your speaker to the (+) terminal at the LEFT speaker output on the amp.
Connect the (-) terminal from your speaker to the (-) terminal at the RIGHT speaker output on the amp.
You cannot safely bridge the amp to a speaker load lower than 4 ohms.
