Two issues, Global Warming and Human influence on global warming. First, I personally think we may be in a period of warming. I do not think we have any definitive evidence that it is caused or worsened by man's activities. There have been times in the earth's past 5 billion year history that the climate has been warmer than it is today. Those warming periods occurred before man was around, so our carbon emissions could not have caused it. If this warming has happened naturally several time before, why is that not possible with this event?. Also, this has taken on political pressure to accept and push the Global Warming agenda. Scientists lives and breathes off grants and government funding. Currently the sacred cow that no one can deny is Global Warming. The Sacred Cow of the mid-70's was Global Cooling.

There aren't any. Not believing that global warming is real is akin to claiming that Earth doesn't revolve around the sun.

Of course, there still a few scientists who don't believe that humans are causing said warming, and several of them have actually come up with a few decent arguments against it.

I, for one, think the science is fairly conclusive on the issue. Anthropogenic global warming is real and a threat to society. I would, of course, love nothing more than to be proven wrong.

GW is a big subject. If I hold a torch to a rock how can the temperature be 250 degrees different? There must be other things going on that we must look into. Pavement causing the surface on hold the heat. Chemicals like CFC's - Halons allow UV to hit earth like never before. GW gases hold heat. We can clean this mess up. But look beyond what everyone is talking about.

It's not that we don't believe in global warming. It's that we're not foolish enough to blindly accept that it is caused by human activities.

Global warming isn't a topic up for belief or disbelief. It isn't a debatable issue, such as God or angels. Topics that cannot be completely proven, such as religion, are up for opinion and (dis)belief.

To not "believe" in global warming would be as foolish as not believing the war in Iraq.
