#31, if that is not present than #30. When you are doing an MOD, you will need to make sure to isolate at the very least the teeth adjacent to it inorder to properly prep the mesial and distal boxes as well as providing proper contour of the amalgam, so #29 through #31 need to be isolated. It is best to have your clamp on the most distal tooth of the arch you are woking on. If you are working on #30, #31 should be clamped. The only reason to put a clamp on the tooth you are working on, is if you are doing a subgingival restoration (buccal or palatal), or you are doing a root canal (a root canal will require only the one tooth to be isolated by the rubber dam)

THE TOOTH TO ANCHOR FOR AN MOD RESTORATION WOULD BE # 31 WHICH IS THE NEXT TOOTH BEHIND IT. THE RUBBER DAM WOULD BE ON TEETH 29-31 FOR THE BEST ACCESS AND VISION.

the clamp goes on the tooth you are working on, in your case #30
