You look at a celebrity's/normal person's underarm:
-smooth
-same color as the rest of their skin
-no skin bumps (i think their pores or something)
-no hair

You look at my underarm:
-hair grows quickly after every shave
-not smooth
-ridgey (rows of those skin bumps)
-a bit dark
-sweaty

I'm female, and I wear roll on deoderant.

If shaving makes it grow too fast or coarse, try using Nair (hair removal creams) or waxing, which lasts a lot longer.
You can get some cold waxing kits or melt in the microwave, that way you can do it yourself.

A tip to removing ingrown hair bumps is to exfoliate. So if you have a rough cloth, a loofah or scrub, use it under your arms.
As for the color of your skin, there is no way to really change that, unless you want to purchase skin lightener creams, but you risk getting uneven results.

Roll on deodorant does not always have anti-perspirant, and that's what prevents sweat.
Try switching to a stick deodorant WITH anti-perspirant.

It's kind of funny but I let mine grow out maybe like 3 or 4cm then I shave it my armpit is nice and smooth, I think the darkness comes from shaving off the bumps over and over like a scar or hairs that haven't come out of the follicle yet that may be ingrown from shaving them when they aren't ready remember to make sure your not wearing a tank or a short sleeve when your letting them grow out and tweezing or waxing can make it less of a stress and can reduce the coming back of the hair.

you also have to remeber that most cdelebrity photos are photoshoped they dont really look lke that if you want to make it so the hair doesnt grow back as fast use nair or wax the underarm i reccommend waxing it works really well the hair doesnt grow back for a few weeks and your pores are less visible. also if you sweat alot you may want to try a different deoderant

It's called Photoshop. The images they take professionally/on the red carpet are photoshopped to make them "perfect"

Search through some of those controversy mags and you'll see that celebs aren't as beautiful as their pictures make them out to be.

maybe a new razor and a milder deoderant will help. everybodt's different though. and the celebs on tv -i'm betting they have the same thing. they just have someone help them cover it up.
