I was never tricked into thinking he existed. Parents who lie to their kids screw up their kids.
I hope this wasn't one of those questions where someone asks if you believe in a fairy and then makes a question later asking why people dont believe in said fairy but believe in God...
Please dont be one of those a**holes...

I still believe in the clause as an element of good writing.
But I quit believing in the jocular little elf in the red suit ,who could come down through the chimney with gifts for all the good little girls and boys, a long time ago.
It's been a couple of years at least. (no, really I guess @ 9 or 10? don't really remember)
Still Santa Claus is based on a number of possible figures in history. Not going to go into it. Google is good for that.

well sweetie, I still believe in Santa. I heard he wasn't real when I was about 6 or 7. I was so upset. Then I watched my mother have so much fun being Santa 's helper that I went right along with it. would rush in to see what was under the tree . then I would go to my mother's bed side and show her what he had left me. This made her happy and showed I loved my gifts.
I think Santa is a spirit that lives within us just like Jesus. It teaches our children they can believe in something they can't see.Santa is a tool to help us learn to believe.

I think at some point alot of parents tell there children that there wasn't a Santa Claus when they were still small.
Throughout the years I found my belief in Santa Claus again when I took my granddaughter to see Santa Claus and see her eyes all lit up.

I never actually believed in him. I was never taught to. However, there was one Christmas Eve I remember, I was maybe seven or eight, and I believed in Santa Claus for a few hours. Then I realized it was stupid.

I was 4 years old, my mom took me to a store that had a Santa there and walked up and pulled his beard off and toldme that, "The only one that brings presents to the house is your father. So get it over it"

I haven't, I believe that any person who does something someone else with any expectations in return and do it simply for the greater good is santa
I know it sounds kinda stupid but I need this crutch in order to deal with stupid people some days.

I still believe in Santa Claus.
I'm not all that sure about God, though.
