And please tell why, too. The reason I ask is I just bought 4 pounds of strawberries (starting to come back in season, yay!) and the scent is wafting up and they just smell SOOO good I can't resist. But I don't only love strawberries, I love pears and watermelon and all the berries- all fruits are so good. So, which one is your favorite?

Most people would die if they found out I am a durian man, I worked in South East Asia and fell in love with durian, it does take some getting use to, in the summer months in that area, you know durian is on the market, it has the slightess smell of a combination of old socks, rotting garbage and a dirty diaper.
But the yellowy custard cream like fruit inside the pod, some weigh up to 20 pounds is heavenly, in fact we did not allow then inside the hotel, they kept them in a shed with a tag, like a coat check you could pick them up in the morning, and the airport is not a place to be when people are trying to take them home or out of the country.
My other favorite fruits are fresh lychees, and one we have here in Canada grown in Newfoundland called the Partridge berry, sweet and sour and combination of a raspberry, cranberry and crabapple.

I LOVE strawberries sooo much. especially with sugar! They are great as a dessert and they are healthy for you too! I also love fugi apples because they are always good, and they don't turn brown as quickly as other apples. I also love canteloupe. they are so juicy! overall, i love fruit salads. especially when lightly spritzed with lemon juice. the juice adds just a little kick while keeping all the other flavors nice and fresh. ~

Raspberries in ice cream, fresh apples and apple pie, canned peaches and pears and apricots, strawberries with whipped cream, bananas with cereal and milk, fresh blackberries off the wand. And a host of others, who can choose just one?
