Jimmie is not a cheater. He is a driver. If there is cheating with the car, that's Chad's area. Jimmie races clean he hasn't really done any "take the guy out just because I can" stunts and even today he was aggressive but not cheating when he beat Gordon.

Jimmie Johnson has nothing to do with the race cars he drives (for the billionth time!). If the 48 team is cheating, it is Chad Knaus doing it. Jimmie doesn't even know. They don't tell the driver. And, I don't look at as cheating. It is creative engineering. Crews have always been "cheating" in NASCAR. If the were not, it'd still be like it was in the early 70's. 2 cars on the lead lap at the finish. Not exciting!

We will never know, no driver is going to say I know this or that when the crew chief takes the blame no matter what. It is curious though that you can follow some drivers through their career with different teams, different crew chiefs and never hear a peep out of their teams, all be it, getting caught, cheating. There are some drivers out there that do know about the cheating. Personally, I would be surprised if Johnson didn't know on the occasions his team has been caught, on the flip side, if I were a crew chief, I wouldn't tell my driver squat about it.

Whats your definition of cheater? I mean seriously, all the drivers cheat its reality. You can deny it all you want and say my driver doesn't cheat but in reality they all do. Its just a matter of who gets caught and if they do they pay the price and then find something else to push the rules or see how much they can get away with. When they get they realized that they pushed something to far by trying to get more of an advantage on the other drivers so they can win more races and get more sponsors and make more money. That's basically what it all comes down too.

Well is the statue of Liberty in New York??????? Cheating is cheating, but golden Jeffy's-protege's chief hasn't been caught much. And Johnson has wrecked plenty of people to get what he wanted, or not, Brian Vickers gave him a taste of that at Dega last year too bad Dale Earnhardt Jr got it also.

In what way is questoin being directed? he doesn't have anything to do with the car itself that is Chad's job and if you are asking about him on the track he's not a cheater there...thats obvious

No because he held off his "teacher" gordon. Gordon was mad after the race but it was half his car that won. But gordon could hav been mean by spinin johson out. That was good racin the last 10 laps. Will jj win any more races?
