Do cardiovascular exercise like running, walking, biking or swimming. Replace junk foods with healthy foods, and make sure that you're eating a moderate amount of calories. Since there's really no way to lose weight in just 1 part of your body, this will tone your body overall, icluding your lower back.

Sit-ups not only work your front, but your back as well. Start by doing sit-ups and crunches. But the best exercise to lose the flab is to run. Running not only causes you to lose the flab but it makes you a more athletic person as well. It improves your physique, gets your blood flowing, and generally make you look fit. Start out by just running a little bit everyday. I gaurantee that you will see a difference within a week. Good Luck!

Well, there is no such thing as spot reduction.... when you begin to lose weight, it will come off all over.... unfortunately, us women tend to store our body fat arounf thre hip, butt and abdomen, and that is where you will notice your fat loss last.
Eata sensible diet, and exercise regualrly for an hour a day, and you will notice a change. Your clothes will satrt to fit better. If you want to tone up your lower back area while losing weight, try back extensions, and some superman moves ( lie face down on a mat, keep your head in a neutral position, and simultaneously lift your chest, feet and arms off the floor, stretching forward with your hands as far as you can. Hold for a count of three, relax. Repeat 20 times for 3 sets.

No specific exercise will get rid of the flab....I would concentrate on diet and cardio first, you will see results 1000 times faster this way, secondly workout your core, crunches, leg raises, lower back raises, side crunches
