My best friend since forever who has always been there for me was on vacation...so i invited my other best friends over (2 of them) to parttayy! we were having a blast when we started gossiping we quickly found out our best friend told me she hated her and her she hated me. she always tells me to hate her and be mean to her and tells her the same thing about me. IDK what to do! shes my best friend but this other girl and i are pissed! we dont know what to do. HELP!

Never, ever believe something you hear through a second or third party. While it may be true, it also may not be. The best thing to do is confront the issue in a calm, polite manner. Go to your best friend. Do NOT mention any names but tell her you heard rumors that she hates you. Tell her that you've been friends forever and it is only fair that she be honest with you. Ask if she really said those things and, if she did, why? Open communication is the only way to have a good, honest, long-lasting relationship. if she has "always been there for" you, then her actions definitely speak louder than words. It is hard to find a friend who is always there for you so it is worth trying to salvage this relationship and the only way of doing that is to get to the truth and then, for both of you, to work it out.
