Would you rather He said "No" than to have heard Him say "Wait"?

just wait God said he will do it he will at the right and perfect time God is never late . he gives it to u when u can handle it now it might destroy ur walk with him so be patiant

No of course not! I would much rather learn a little patience because as Jesus said "In your Patience possess ye your soul" There are so many things over the past 35 years of my Christian walk that God promised me and some of them became reality in my life immediately others took a while, and still some are becoming within reach of being actual accomplished promises even as I type this.
I guess when you are new in the Lord your patience has not yet been developed, and having to wait on the Lord produces that.
One last thing "They That Wait Upon The Lord shall Renew Their Strength"

There are times when God's promises are fulfilled immediately. Others can take years. God sometimes works things out over a period of time, and other times a 'suddenly' happens.
What I do know tho, is that there are times when I have prayed for things and have had to wait, and sometimes years, but I look back and am grateful to God for the 'waiting'
time, as the time I would have wanted it to happen would have been the wrong time.
God works everything together for good to those who love Him, and are called according to His purpose.

I have been waiting for 13 years and now I am starting to see the manifestation of His promises come to pass. I understand why God makes you wait. If He gave you what you wanted when you wanted it, you would not be able to keep it. God uses time to remove all our bad characteristics so we can hold on to His blessing. I am not sorry at all God made me wait. I can now do in a short time which it took people a life time to do, because I did it God's way. It is definitely worth it.

Hey you must know that God is not our slave and has the ultimate right to say `NO` if He sees a better way or if it is not for our true good, I have asked God for things in the past that I have never received and being a little more wise I am glad that I did not get my answer as I now know that I didn`t really know what I was asking and certainly did not need them either,think about this yourself.

I would rather him say wait because when he says wait i know he will come through i am comforted by God's promise to Abraham of having a son even at his old age and he kept faith and so waiting for his promises to be fullfilled takes patients but it also takes faith

God does not make promise for anything to anyone. You don't make deals with Him either. He knows if you are just praying because you need something, maybe once or twice from him. He does not make deals with us! He gives us a few chances to come unto Him, believe and trust in Him, but he wont' keep calling you, or answering you.

god doesnt make promises for anything. Im just patiently waiting for him to bring me home. I rather wait cause that makes the actual coming of jesus ever so better!!

If you pray for the wrong thing -- wealth or power or fame or sex -- God will probably say no. If you pray to hear His voice speaking to you about what you should do in your life he will say yes, Love God and love your neighbor -- Follow that law and you will be fulfilled.
