Pastor Billy says: in my best preacher talk kinda voice , darling listen to me are you listening listen to me now listen now, the purpose to picking a name here is not that you are making a fashion statement you realise that don't ya. Your confirmation is a serious matter so yes pick a name you can live with but understand the importance of why you pick one and why we are identifying with a Christian saint on this journey.

There is no Saint "Taylynn" that I know of.
There is a Saint Taylor but it's a man; Hugh Taylor.
There is a Saint Anne Lyne.
You might find a saint's name to your liking by checking out one of the many saint indexes available on the Internet. Juts google "saint index" and you'll be fine.

Your Confirmation name does not become your middle name-it is not a 'legal' name at all. Rather, it is a name you choose for yourself, following the Old and New Testament tradition of taking on a new name with a new mission as a follower of God.
You should choose a name that not only appeals to you, but MEANS something to you. You might choose a saint who shares a name with a beloved relative, or one who overcame a life obstacle similar to one you have.
Here is a website you can check for saint names and info about them!

When I was confirmed, I wasn't given a saint name! I was so disappointed too!! I was going to choose St. Francis :)
There is a St Hugh Taylor (Who was the first martyr in the persecutions of Queen Elizabeth) as well as a St Anne Lyne (the patron saint of childless people and widows)
I put a link below to an alphabetical listing of the patron saints in case you want to choose something else...hope that helps!

There is a St. Anne Lyne, not Lynn:

And there is no St. Taylynn.

I know you are partial to those names, but perhaps you are choosing them for the wrong reason. Try picking a vocation that speaks to you - education, children, cooking, medicine, etc. and choose your saint based on that. Whatever the saint stands for should be the reason you choose them - not because they have a particular name.
Good luck!

I am not catholic but it seems to me that the intent of this man-invented tradition (as I am pretty sure the Bible does not teach this) is to honor GOD. It is not about what you want. My advice is pick the name you like least so it will be a constant reminder to put what GOD wants before what you want.
Good luck
