Since candidates must report their donations by a certain date the Democrat party is asking voters not to donate to party candidates. By doing so it keeps the numbers low and makes the party look as if they are not in the hands of special interests. My question is as follows: Are you going to go along with this unofficial not announced policy or are you going to donate anyway?

I'd really like to see a source for your facts.

One logical reason the national committee would urge voters to conform to the donation laws would be to prevent any situations where the contributions would bring the legal system into the process.

A number of bad mistakes were made in past national campaigns involving people who gave too much to the wrong people did come to light. While the contributions were returned in time, the bad press cost a lot of trust.

The Democrats are denying receiving donations on paper but under the table they are accepting a lot in order to make it appear as unrecorded and not subject to audit as part of campaign funds.

I am a Democrat and none of the political candidates have asked for me to stop donating they have been asking for money. Once again someone who isn't a democrat trying to give false information.
