Maybe they are conflicting with the prayers that the Abrahamic god's rules should be law everywhere.
I mean, THOSE prayers seem to be working in the middle east.
(I just don't know why antisecularists aren't begging to go live in Iran or Israel.)

Me thinks, you are making a sad joke, eh? Well, Thank God that there are people who do pray for this world, because it would probably be in worse shape. There is a battle going on in this world and prayer will help more than jokes.

There is peace in the world for those who believe in Jesus Christ according to Rom 5:1. Those who have accepted Christ have found one accordness with Christ because of salvation. However, the scripture says, "There is no peace for the wicked". So as long as there are wicked sinners in the world their will be turmoil.

Nothing fails like prayer... How much more obvious does it get? Let's ALL get together and pray for world peace, the secular and nonsecular alike... lets all give it the old college try and see what happens.
My hypothesis... nothing.

You see when we pray for something, we dont know if it will work out for our best or worst. if we had prayed for plaque to be gone and if it was answered then we would not have found penicillen. we already know through the Prophets that God does answer prayers. God doesnt answer all prayers but listens to all of them and if he will it will be answered.
