I find that the passages in the Bible speaking of the rapture seem to indicate that it will come after the great tribulation. I think the rapture is when the trumpets blow and the saints meet Jesus in the air -- immediately before the Great White Throne Judgement in Revelation.

Also, when Jesus is talking about the end of the world in Matthew, he speaks of all the horrrible things that will happen, and then speaks of the rapture happening, as if it occurs after the tribulation. I just really don't see any reason to think the rapture is any time but after the Tribulation (I know there's a theory about Daniel, and a predicted seventy weeks, and the church being taken away to start the final week, but that's not convincing enough for me.)
