Just curious. I have a little cousin who does that alot.

this is a common problem, have your cousin see a pediatrician they might send her/him to an orthopedist alot of times they grow out of it, sometimes they need an orthopedic implant in their shoes and physical therepy. best to see a doctor a
about it sooner than later it can lead to muscles not lengthening and alot of problems later good luck!

I walk on my toes when I'm barefoot. It's not bad - it just means I have high arches.
If it hurt, your cousin would stop doing it.

my son was toe walked for many years. you will find that many toe walking kids may have issues with hyeractivity, and in my sons case...autism. yes it will affect thier feet and gait as the calf muscles will not stretch as they should with growth. my son did calf stretches for a long time, and he is now 15 and his feet are pretty messed up.his gait is also awkward.i feel so bad for him. i hope your cousin has a family member who will work with him on this.

Toe walking is a sign of Muscular Dystrophy.

they should not be walking on there toes get him some good solid shoes so he has to walk properly. my granddaughter did this and damaged her feet
