yes completely... so that way not only will we have stupid good for nothing 40 yr. drunks and pot heads with their lives alreaghty out of the way we can have 12 yr old midget dumasses walking around w/o a mind, constantly being wasted and plastered to a wall... the human male doesnt physically stop growing till b/n 23-5 years old and women around 20. smoking, and drinking affect growth majorly, as well as the mental capacity. show any drunk/ strong drinker or any chain smoker a picture to examin, then take the picture away and ask them questions... you will find that their short term memory is shot to hell... tht is bad if you need to remember formulas or facts for school. and as to the driving, ovbiously you dont drive or you would not mention it. teens on the road that have a somewhat stable mental state are reckless on the road as it is. so the apparent answer to anyone who actually knows anything is no, they should not. plain and simple.

Kids should NOT get the same privileges(the right to smoke, drive, drink, have sex, etc.) as an adult because until they grow up, they are not able to see the consequences of doing these things in excess, in a wrong way, at a young age, nor how their mistakes will affect their friends' and family's lives. There are many adults that shouldn't have these privileges either.

NO!!! Along with those privleges comes BIG consequences if not handled properly. Kids, even if they think so, are not mature enough to do those things. As another poster stated, smoking isnt good for adults to do either even though I think they should have a right to do something stupid to hurt themselves. Kids are different... they should be protected from themselves when it comes to doing something stupid. Drinking could fall into this category also however to me social drinking is okay for adults. Driving? Yea right. I'd stay off the roads if 10 year olds were driving.

No they should not first of all why should you be worrying about that any way. You should be thinking about things like school related issues things for your age.You should never drink or smoke its bad for your body . An as for as driving that will come in due time and you need to be responsible and wise when it comes to driving it nothing to play with.

No they should not. The reason is because we get those things when we are mature and responsible enough to handle them. If children were able to drive, can you imagine the nightmare the roads would be. Imagine if they were drinking at the same time. You would have these drunk kids who could barely see over the steering wheel trying to drive. That's enough to keep me off of the road.

nope

and i think all of the above ought to have the age limit raised too!

smoking and drinking are proven to be detrimental to health with the majority of those who become ADDICTED to them starting at a very young age

driving - that is a privilege not a right. maturity is definitely needed because of the safety issues involved (sorry but i have known 4 people who have been involved in 3 different driving accidents this week - none of whom were at fault - cars totalled - no one killed - minor injuries only PRAISE GOD!) a machine weighing several tonnes apiece in the hands of someone who is out to impress their friends can become a lethal weapon to innocent bystanders too - so that is why i think that raising the age limit to be the wtg

I personally think a child should be able to drive if they can pass the driving test and are old enough to take the front seat airbags, but smoking and drinking is something they just cant do. First of all, smoking is especially damaging to children early in their development. 2nd of all, children have no alcohol tolerance.

Not for me, even though I'm nearly an adult. I don't like to smoke or drink. Smoking gets very addictive due to nicotine and drinking can cause traffic accidents.

When they assume the responsibilities as adults like if they are supporting themselves sure. That means rent, food, clothing, insurance, medical care, transportation, etc. And if they show adult standards of cleanliness.

As for smoking I don't think adults should be allowed.
