She could have a touch of the flu, or maybe a virual infection. If it' virual there really isn't much you can do, besides wait it out. Give her plenty of fluids and tylonal for the fever. I would call the doctor in the morning to see if she can be seen. There is a nasty bug going around that has been leaving people dehydrated. That would be my main concern with the vomitting.

It sounds like a vicious case of flu. Or perhaps a virus.

You may want to get her to a doctor. In the meanwhile, it's important to keep her hydrated.

Give her 2 teaspoons of crushed ice and Coke Classic every 5 minutes. No more than that, though: Her stomach will reject it.

That's what I had to do for myself when I caught a similar bug. That was no fun!

She sounds like she may have flu with dehydration.
With the headache, breathing issue, and high fever, I would recommend that you should bring her in to the local ER. She could be developing pneumonia or something more serious, and dehydration can be serious too.

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck.
Headaches can be caused by minor problems
like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more serious reasons
like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can
have harmful side effects, so it is better to
modify your lifestyle. More information available at

She might have pneumonia, which causes fluid in the lungs, which makes it difficult to breathe.

But I am not a doctor, so I would get her in to see a doctor.

Try a tsp of coke. If she doesnt throw that up for a while try a little more. Sometimes that works better than water. If that doesnt work, take her to the emergency room.

I could be the flu, or stomach virus. Make sure she stays hydrated, and you may need to get her to a pediatrician.
