All soda crackers are one of the worst things you can eat. Especially saltine crackers! Look at the ingredients:

Refined Salt. This is salt that has all the minerals and nutrients removed leaving only Na Cl (sodium chloride). This causes high blood pressure and heart disease. It should contain sea salt that has all the minerals and vitamins and nourishes the body, not create toxins that the body has to eliminate.

Partially hydrogenated shortening (oil). This is a trans fat. It causes heart disease and hardening of the arteries.

White Flour. This is flour that has had all the vitamins and minerals removed to keep it from going rancid and spoiling. It is produced by bleaching it with poisons like nitrogen trichloride that is a nervous system poison. Also chlorine dioxide, benzoyl peroxide, potassium bromate, and ammonium persulfate have been used as well. Chlorine dioxide produces alloxan in the body. A lot of people that show allergic reactions to flour products are not allergic to the flour, but allergic to these other agents being added to the flour!

A little degerminated rye. rye that has been stripped of it's nutrients.

soda. This neutralizes the stomach acid that kills germs in the stomach, promotes good digestion, and allows absorption of calcium, magnesium, and zinc. When this neutralizes the stomach acid, these minerals don't get digested!

I would search for crackers made with whole grain products and non of these other garbage ingredients listed above.

Avoid soy and canola oils in these products. The soy products slow your thyroid down and prevent minerals from being absorbed. Canola oils contain eurcic acid that has long term health effects that are very negative on the body. Don't buy or eat anything that says "vegetable oils" as part of the ingredients. It's an allowed labeling practice that the manufacturers can legally do to mask the garbage they put in.

good luck

I love them fresh crispy and salty.

They are grain, but they are pure starch and sodium.

So I would say not particularly good for you.

If you go with a whole grain cracker it would be better.
