I should know this since I live in Florida, but I rarely use limes.

I heard a chef say limes have no seeds. But others seem to think there are.

So what do you think? Thanks for your time and trouble to respond.

Limes have seeds to reproduce, they are not like the seedless grapes. Some only have a few, others have more. As the limes are kept longer, the seeds grow.

Yes they have seeds, some are grown to appear not to have seeds, but in fact all fruits have a seeds, you may not notice them at all, they are small and not hard and almost clear, they blend right in with the rest of the fruit, just like a seedless watermelon, well guess what they have seeds to, not very many but there are some little white seeds in there. SO YES THEY HAVE SEEDS....some may only have 1 or 2

You might find the occasional seed in limes, but I don't think that key limes have seeds.
