I tend to get a little depressed sometimes and my meds ran out. My insurance got cancled so I can no longer get my meds filled. Crappy, huh? Anyway, say something funny or just anything to make me smile:) Thanks!

You don't look a bit depressed in that photo of yours! Maybe the meds had not yet run out when you took it?
Sorry, bad joke. But seriously now, there are plenty of natural solutions for depression.
First you have to understand how the chemistry in our brain works. Depression is lack of serotonin, a neurotransmitter.
Serotonin is balanced by dopamine (imagine a playground see-saw with serotonin in one side and dopamine in the other). When they are level you feel OK, when either one or the other is heavier, the general effect is the same as if you had little of the one on the other side.

Little serotonin=depression
Little dopamine=hyper active (ADD or ADHD)
Moving from one side to the other=Bipolar disorder

Example, when you are producing too much dopamine, your brain things it has too litle serotonin and starts reacting with the symptoms of depression.
Fine and dandy, now how to control these two?
Foods rich in complex carbohydrates will help produce more serotonin (grains, vegetables etc..) while protein rich foods will contribute for more dopamine. Simple carbs (sugars, pastries, donuts, pizza, pasta, Sodas etc..) should be avoided in depressive states because they make it worse.
Exercise in moderation (or dancing) will help balance the two neurotransmitters. A full body massage will help with that too. A warm bath with bubles will act as a second best for a full body massage.
For some people, to watch a horror movie that will scare their daylights can kick the production of more serotonin and get them out of a mood. You have to try what works for you.
Good luck.

seriously, all americans have health plans for the poor. Go to a clinic and keep taling them. After you take them again, you will unnoticably feel better and not need this immature crowd to help your problem . It is a disorder. Baby, we all have one sort or another so it's normal. Just smile because I'm on meds now for anxiety and haven't had a fainting spell or panic attack in years. When they start, they are less severe. You cannot go off it cold turkey. Speaking of turkey, did you know many women don't know you remove the bag of giblets when you cook it? Did you know that window shopping is senseless; if you need a window, you BUY one. And lastly....you could be blonde LOL

I'm sorry for your problems that has to be rough ,try seeing a psycholigist, a lot of them are partially funded by taxes so what you may have to pay is based on what you earn.As for something to smile about go over to the mirror and say hi to that pretty girl. Good luck.

Superman was flying one day above Metropolis and said to his self "I'm damn hot this morning" Suddenly he saw the Wonder Woman on a roof naked and moving in a suggestive way and thought Wow I wish I could do it with her" Then he thought "I'm faster than a bullet I fly down I do it to her and she won't even notice me" He went down very fast like a tornado moving her hair and left. Then the Wonder Woman exclaims "What was that?" And the invisible man who was on top of her says "I don't knot, but my butt hurts like hell."

You're certainly not by yourself, Sugar !
If your real personality is anything like your picture
( great ), show the world, what your all about !
Then the depression will seem like something
from the past !

Get up right now and say " I am happy and everybody loves me." Take a shower and go visit a friend.
This helps me all the time.
