My friend had an esophajectomy in February and is still weak and has no energy. How long after this operation does it take to return to pre-operative energy?

This site says that patients usually resume normal activities after 3 weeks of recovery (assuming that your friend did not have the surgery through a scope):

This is a major operation, and there are a lot of possible reasons why your friend is still feeling weak and tired. He or she she definitely go back to the doctor to see if there is anything going on. I hope it is nothing serious.
