Actually, I think it's probably more dangerous.

I was heavily involved in Pro-ana sites for a long time. It has been extremely detrimental to my health. I have been trying to recover from a nineteen battle with anorexia and being a member of those sites has kept me from doing so. I am trying to use yahoo answers as a substitute for logging onto the pro-ana websites.
Although they were my sanctuary and sometimes saving grace, I wish there was some way to dismantle all pro-ed sites and such.

Not good. Sick girls encouraging other girls to be sick like them. Eating disorders go nowhere but downhill. If these girls don't kill themselves with their disorder, they are going to suffer a life time of health problems.
