How does one make moving gifs on photoshop (CS2)?

I've heard you can change layers into frames to do this, but how?

click Window in the menu bar and check Animation

you will now have a window with frames at the bottom.

click the small 'duplicate selected frames' icon on the bottom for how many frames you want.. then click each frame individually, and hide/show layers you want to show for that frame
