Someone asked recently if if atheist have ever concedered if they were wrong and there really exist one god (or many).
If we'd ever thought about the consquences I guess. As if lot's of us hadn't bee force fed whit the idiocy from earky childhood.

But the contrary question did obviously not present itself in the questioners mind:
What if you christians and other theists perceptions would show to be totally and uttely false. Have you ever thougt of what consequences that mean to your supposedly long awaited for afterlife in constant bliss and joy for eternity? Or even for all the religious efforts you laid down in this life without really gaining any reward for it? Do you realise how much effort will have been totally wasted in such case?

I make no claims as to my perception of divinity being right for anyone but me.

I believe doing good should be done for its own sake, not for any afterlife reward/punishment system. I want no part of any system that awards benefits based upon swearing allegiance to one arbitrary camp that has perpetrated a series of morally dispicable actis in the name of their god, and I'll tell any god the exast same thing to his/her/its/their face(s).

If the atheists are right, I have no problem with that.

I believe in God ~~~ through FAITH. No one can prove faith to be either right or wrong.

It is a belief, still, if it turns out that there is no such place (state of being) as heaven ~~~ then I shall still be pleased with the way I lived my life caring for others.

I have not lost anything that was worthwhile since being born again. Everything that has come from my experience has been uplifting and strengthening me. So if I wrong, then I am not out anything. I would rather believe and be wrong than not believe and be wrong and go to hell. Seems like an easy decision to me.

There's a chance that anyone, or EVERYONE, could turn out to be wrong. If I receive credible information that my beliefs are wrong, then I will adjust appropriately.

On the contrary my friend. Have YOU ever considered what the consequences would be like,if maybe, YOU were wrong? I'm not saying you're wrong. I'm just saying, what if years later, you find out, that christians were right? Have you ever wondered what it would mean if maybe, just maybe, your perceptions and all you knew, prove to be false? What if you find out there IS a God, & those things you heard about, were true? You can't go back and change your mind then, it's too late...

Think about it,........... which is worse? If what you say is true, about christians, and all this stuff christians believe is false, if there was no after life, or rewards, then we'll all be dead, and in the ground, and won't know the difference anyway, right? There would be nothing to look forward to, no reason to have faith, nothing to put your hope in, just death. There would be no punishment, no reward, and a person could just do whatever he/she pleases, and then die, right?

But, on the other hand, if you died tomorrow, and you found out there really WAS an after life, and a reward, and, you just missed out, then what?? You can't just turn around and go back. You can't just wait and, see, for yourself, and then change your mind later, either.... IT"S TOO LATE!

Sooner or later, EVERYONE will have to stand before God one day and give an answer to what he/she has done with their life. You can deny it, run away from it, all you want to, but you can't hide from God. He knows everything about you. He knows what you're gonna do/say, before you do it. Before you even think it, He knows. He knows where you've been, how you think. Everything you've ever done or said, when you thought no one was looking. He even knows how many hairs are on your head. He knows what your motives are, whats hidden underneath. NOTHING is hidden from God.

Do you seriously think that you are SO perfect, that you know more about life and death than God?? Do you think you don't need to believe this stuff, and, that God will understand that you don't agree with it, and just excuse you? that because you consider yourself an unbeliever, or non-believer, that these thing don't apply to you?? If you don't believe me, look up the word unbeliever sometime, & see what God says about it. Did you know it takes more effort, on your own part, to fight God, and than it will ever take to win? He loves you too much. He'll take as much as you can throw at Him, and still be there if you need Him. You can run away, and He'll still be there. You can't out run, or out smart God.

Anybody can take the easy way out in life. You don't HAVE to believe anything. God gave each one of us free-will: the freedom to choose, whether we believe in Him or deny He exists. You can believe whatever you want, but saying He doesn't exist, doesn't make God any less real, If you say there is no life after death, and God and His teachings are "totally and utterly false", then you call God a liar.

It's a terrible and frightening thing, to stand guilty in the presence of the Living God. God is Just and Fair, He will bring Justice against ALL who hate Him and all who persuade others to do the same, and any one who tries to turn His children(christians/believers), away, or causes them to question their faith.

You are treading on dangerous ground, my friend. There are far worse consequences for those who OPENLY AND WILLINGLY oppose God,and reject Him, completely, and teach others to do the same.who die in their sins,; than someone with an open mind, who atleast acknowledges, that HE IS who He says He is.

The difference for believers, is that, we don't have to fear God when we die, we don't have to fear death, or punishment. We choose to admit our faults, and sins and weaknesses NOW. We choose to ask Him for forgiveness NOW, while we're still living, BEFORE we get in that position. We admit we haven't done everything right, we screw things up, and make things worse by ourself, and willingly admit, we need some one far greater, and more wise than ourself. We ALL sin. Unlike God, who IS Perfect, All-Powerful, All-knowing, we can't do everything,

We can plant a seed in the ground, and water it, but we can't give it life, We can identify the elements in water, but we can't create it, We don't know everything there is to know.

I hope one day you realize that the real issue isn't about what christians believe & think, because we already HAVE "constant peace, joy and bliss", but the real question is, "what do YOU believe?" Because it's not christians you are fighting against, it's God. The reward we all long for as believers, is finally meeting Jesus Christ, face to face, and hearing Him say,:"well done!" The Bible says, that on that day, the Lord will say either one, of two things to you: Either ""Well done!, My good and faithful one, enter in" or, He'll say,:"Depart from Me, you workers of iniquity!! I never knew you". So you tell me, whose efforts will it be then, that were in vain?
