hmm where to start.
You can use a free tool on many of the PC magazines cover disks... PC Advisor is and excellent one and then you can start.
Depending on the programme depends on whether you shrink them, generally not though! so don't !
The files are already on your hard drive (letter c) and can be burnt to C. To burn to a DVD you need a DVD writer... have you got one already?
You most likely have a CD reader/writer though.
Choose the best quality brand discs you can afford for the burn process as they are more stable and better quality than 'cheaper' brands... but can be more expensive..... but how long do you plan on keeping these files?
Go for the latest PC Advisor magazine as it has 4 burning programmes on it this month....

Obviously, you have the DVD burner and it should have a program associated with it. You may need to decrypt as well. You can get decrypter DVD FAB decrypter as a free download. Try Google. You must have a program such as Nero in order to burn the DVD. You may also try finding it as free software.

wait a sec wht?? ok.. the word "ripping" is used when u are extracting dvd files from ur dvd, meaning u rip them. i think u mean..hiw do u burn dvd files..right? well...if u want to use cracks and serials (who do not have viruses and actually work), then u can find many good softwares. if u want a freeware, then i dont think there is.. sorry. if u want a trial version of softwares, then they might have annoying limitations. and no, u only need one software.
if u want to copy one dvd to another, im not sure bout tht.. but u can google it and find it out.
any questions bout this, feel free to contact me.(musicalavi91@yahoo.com)
hope tht helped. good luck!

U can use windows media player to do that ;but you have to have a CD that you have made to do that" if you bought the CD i doubt that it will rip it for you". It may give you the option to write the CD under data CD, if you get that choice !Choose that ,at least it will play on your computer; but you wont be able to burn Cd's with that format .I sure hope this helps signed glen
