Hi I tried looking in my city of madison, but not much luck, along with other website links, where do I go online to find an car accident report that happened last night in city of madison?? actually I know also, this is public information.

call the local police department and ask them to give you auto accident records. you'll need info like the date of the accident, and wehere it happened, or even better if you have a report number.

The police officer has to have time to fill out and file a report. His supervisor then has to have some time to read and approve the report. It may not be ready for a week.
Auto accident reports are public records. You have to pay a fee to get a copy of the report. Police departments usually require you to mail in an application with a check to pay the fee for the report.

The accident record isn't even ready most likely. Also, even if it's public record, doesn't mean it's online. It means you can go and get a copy from the local police department - once it's ready. Most reports take days, sometimes weeks, before they're ready even for insurance companies.
