Take 2 to 3 tins of the Pillsbury breadstick dough and place each strip in a lattice work fashion around a Pyrex glass bowl. Follow directions for preheating and baking on the tin or bake until nice golden brown. Allow to cool and set up. This make perfect bread basket for spring salads (make sure you do not leave the holes in the lattice work too big).

Difficult one...
Nests are quite simple to make with either meringue or pastry (puff or short). Adding to them might be tricky, but:
You could make some meringue nests. Pipe meringue mixture in thin horseshoe shapes on to baking tray. When cold fix the 'handles' on the nests with whipped cream. Fill with fresh fruits of your choosing to make colourful baskets.
Cut thin bands of puff pastry. Twirl them round to make a nest, layering in a circle for depth. With another strand fix to the nest with a dab of water pressing in firmly. Bake, being very careful when removing from oven as the handle will be delicate. Can be used for sweet (as before) or savoury i.e. Creamed chicken; prawn cocktail, cream cheese etc.
Good Luck !!
