"The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son (the progeny of Adam) shall not bear the iniquity of the father (Adam), neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him. But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die." Ezekiel 18:20-21

You are very right to qoute that from the Book of Ezekiel. Even it was also written from the
Book of Deuteronomy 24:16 "Fathers shall not be put to death for the sins of their children, nor the children put to death for their fathers; each is to die for his own sin."
Therefore, rendering the suffering and death of Jesus useless as an offering for the original sins of the Jews much more of the world who have nothing to do with the sons of Adam and Eve. The early sin of disobedience was erased at the time when Moses had accomplished his mission to bring Israel out of their miseries from Egypt. The suffering they have experienced as slaves of the Paraoh was their payment and their Exodus to the promised land was the sign that their sin have been forgiven.
Jesus coming was for the next generation of stubborn Israel for their utter disregard to the laws handed down to Moses at the Mount of Horeb. He came for the only for "The lost sheeps of Israel." Matthew 15:24.
The most reliable early manuscript and other ancient witnesses do not have Mark 16:9-20. It is suspected that it was added later to justify the Christians order to spread the Gospel to the world and not just to Israel...www.thename.ph

This must be one of the verses that got lost among the other teachings.

It is very amusing to see how Christians can support heresy, like the teaching that Jesus is apart of God, and not support the most basic right of man: to personally pay for what hes done.
