As long as you already have a fiancee you'll have enough time. Get started now though.

That shouldn't be a big problem. Usually October isn't a real popular month so places should still have openings. Start ASAP though. Make sure you get ceremony, reception area booked first. Then Photographer, DJ and Florist. Just make a list and start checking it off. Good Luck.

first of all, CONGRATULATIONS!!! I had just 5 months to prepare and book for my wedding, it's on June 17'th so i still have 2 and 1/2 months.. it's possible but very very hard.. you should give it lots of your time. the hardest thing will be the stress and anxiety..ask your friends to help if you want..
if you can afford it, hire a wedding planner. it will help a lot, that's what i did. (it should be someone that you trust and like working with).. so far I'm ahead of schedule
GOOD LUCK!!!

When I got out of the Marines, my wife and i decided to have the Wedding ceremony we never had when we got married, we did everything like it was the actual ceremony, and we planned it in the space of under 2 months, so yes, I am sure you will be able to.

Venues may be tight but of course it can happen. size of the wedding is a big factor. If you want k d lang or Alanis Morristette to sing at the wedding it may be too late to book them. However, I'm sure Britney Spears is available.
heh heh heh.

Sure, 6 months is the normal amount of time it takes to plan a wedding. It just depends on how big the wedding is and how much of a perfectionist you are.
Good luck!

yes, but you will have to hurry as a lot of places need one year advanced notice. just get married in a park and have your relatives provide the music...karaoke? have a caterer and provide your own beverages...most weddings are over priced and the pressure is very costly to the relationship with the bride and groom and the rest of the friends of the family.

sure, i just bought my wedding dress at a store in the mall. with prom season going on you can find all the dresses and clothing you need. flowers only take a few weeks and reserving a place only takes a phone call. good luck.
