I think he is using the global warming scare just to make himself richer then he already is, selling carbon credits for example.

When it comes to global warming, he is not an idiot. All the people that believe what he says are the idiots. He is just a business man trying to make an un-honest living. When it comes right down to it, he doesn't even believe in global warming. He uses more energy than anyone in Tennessee at his mansion and most of the year he isn't even there. He flies around in private jets also.

When it comes to his other political views, he is a complete idiot though.

who cares what Al Gore is ,or how much money he got or what his motives are ,these are all totaly irrelevant points ,he could be a gay killer clown for all i care .

what he does for the good of the planet is the only thing that matters ,from an envirnmental point of view.And if that is possitive ,if his power and connections can iniciate some actions that will make a difference for the good of All,

than he is OK in My book.

Al Gore is not important. He has nothing at all to do with the science.

Global warming is real not a "scare". Because of overwhelming scientific data, not clever arguments. You can't decide the truth about global warming by listening to arguments or because someone you dislike is saying it's real. You have to actually look at the data.

Science is about data, not clever arguments. Global warming is not about Al Gore.

There's a movie out called swindle which says it's fiction. It uses bad data.

Not me. He is a calculating politician, perhaps the opposite of an idiot. His worst crime (in regards to his documentary) is that he implied that science is certain that his predictions are going to come true; in other words, that his theory is fact. No reputable scientist (and Al Gore is not a scientist, much less a reputable scientist) implies that his theories are fact.

Lets look at this from who is it going to hurt. The poor that thinks the demo. will take care of them the elderly . The problem is Gore doesn't want to run out of fuel for his jet,and car, and boat etc .
