Eucalyptus and hot water work very well as does the special organic soaps like Dr. Bronner's peppermint soap. Try those two, they worked wonders on my dog.

No there isn't any that is going to completely solve your flea problem. Get some frontline or advantix. They are in no way harmful to your pet even if ingested and will repel the fleas up to a month. If you decide to try it or have tried it and still see a flea or two its completely normal. The fleas have to get on your pet before they can die but they should be smaller and only a very few should be seen. Consider treating your yard also if your dog goes outside alot with some Over and Out ant killer. It has the same active ingredient as frontline. It can be bought at home depot.

Why mess around with 'natural' products that are in no way as effective?
Get some Frontline or Stronghold from your vet. You could end up spending loads on other stuff when this will fix it right away. Don't let it be a question of money because you get what you pay for! And a note - petshop products don't work, they're a waste of money.

Fleas are a major pest. There are various species of fleas - cat fleas, dog fleas, rat fleas and rabbit fleas.
You can get rid of them by the safest and cheapest methods like boric acid.

Garlic helps, but you have to get enough in their blood. The best way is to eliminate the flea's from the dogs living area.
