The guy I'm dating is American, I'm british, he says the reason he doesn't call often is cuz of the price of phonecalls are sooo expensive in the UK. He said he'd prefer to buy me a ticket to go see him which he purchased for over £100 so I could spend the weekend with him. He's perfect apart from the lack of calling, I've told him bout this but he complains that I nag too much and that I'm trying to change him, now that Im home, I've decided to not complain and act distant......what do you think I should do?!
BTW, we both live in the UK (250 miles apart) Do you think I should worry bout the amount of calls I recieve?

Well what's true is that the calls are pretty expensive. But it depends how often he calls you...if he hasn't called you for like two weeks...then yes it's sertainly a lack of calling and you have a reason to complain however if the calls are just a few days apart it's ok. A long distance relationship can be hard to deal with so think of a way for you to meet more often and if he's really serious about you. And since he's paying for your ticket it sertainly means he wants to see you again. Best of luck...don't fret and enjoy your time with him. Once again...the phone calls depend on the time he doesn't call you. Don't act too distant..it might send the wrong signal. And once he calls be happy that he did. :-) Hope this helps,

i don't think you should worry...the fact that you know each other for a long time is a good sign and you should try something else like chating on the internet
if you really like each other you will work things out

calls are expensive... tell him that if you continue to be together you want to see him X amount of times... decide how many times you want to see him... then tell him you will call him X amount of times, and he can call you X amount of times...
dont they make Phone cards over there?
