No way.... be proud of your decision to protect yourself and your partner! I actually admire men when I see them buying condoms. (but be sure to use them once you buy them!!!!)

It doesnt matter what age you are... if you are having sex, don't be afraid to buy them.

Would you be embarrassed buying alcohol or cigarettes? I understand that it can be uncomfortable buying condoms from a store but there really isn't any reason to be.

I used to have that problem so here are two tips:
If you don't need them right away buy them online. Amazon.com sells a huge variety.
If you need them right away try going to a large grocery store that has self checkout lanes.

If you need them right away but you can't find self checkout lanes then just suck it up and go to a cashier. There's no reason to be ashamed of purchasing condoms in our society. While some people may give you a dirty look because pre-marital sex is against their personal beliefs they're only a small group. Plus, unless you shop there regularly why would you care what some random person thought?

Well, there's not much you can do about that. Your sex life is basically supposed to be private, and having it all obvious like that can be rather humiliating. It's easier if the person behind the counter is another guy, because at least then there's a bit of understanding there.

Worst case scenario, check out the bathrooms at gas stations. Sometimes there's a little condom dispenser on the wall--stick in a buck in quarters, and a condom pops out. No face-to-face embarassment needed.

Do you know how many times that checker has had people buy condoms? Quite a few times I would imagine. They'll probably only pass judgement if you look really young, as if " you shouldn't be having sex" But if you're an upperclassmen in high school or something, I wouldn't worry about it. Of course, you can always go to health clinics and sutff to get free ones.

Anyone who tells you yes, is an idiot! Sex is a natural thing and condoms let you have safe sex. Would would rather skip the quick embarrassement of have an unwanted child?

By them from an older male or female cashier. They won't even look up. If you purchase them from one of the younger female cashiers, possible someone that recognises you, you may get a look. If it's that worrysome, drive somewhere completely new, walk in, buy, walkout. But them in bulk and you may get a phone number and a wink.

Embarrassed is buying an industrial can of KY lube, and them having to do a price check for you..."Price check, register 4, industrial canister of KY, need a price check, pronto..."

Yikes No! You are being responsible. You are I don't know but preventing unwanted pregnancy and not contracting AID's other STD's. I know I'm giving my age away but when I bought condoms you had to stand in line and ask the pharmacist to get them back with the prescription meds. Talk about embarrassing! But, unlike most of my high school peers in the 1970's I'm one of the few that didn't end up getting pregnant. My boyfriend wouldn't buy them so I did.

No, you should not.

My favorite condom-buying story is going through the checkout aisle at Costco with a mega-pack of condoms, a 2 liter bottle of red wine, and some king size bed sheets. Nothing else, but big grins. O - I had my gf with me, too.

Don't feel weird there probably looking at you funny because they aren't getten none. Besides its better to feel weird than find out a week later that those red bumps arent just going to go away! In another words you can never go back only forward and to say later on that you wished you would have bought them will not change the path of time

I use to work at a store that sold condoms and there were some guys that would buy them and feel embarrassed. My co-workers and I would tell them not to be embarrassed cause atleast we know that there's a less chance of them coming back for some kind of STD med.

there isnt anything to be embarassed about since everyone in this world basically has sex. If your embarrassed try going to someone of the same sex when your cashing out, or whoever you would feel more comfortable cashing out in front of, or if there is any of those stores around that have the self check out isles then use one of those then you dont have to worry about someone else ringing it up. But really there is nothing to be embarrassed about.
